Gwinnett Country Board of Realtors Scholarship Foundation

Each year the Gwinnett County Board of Realtors Scholarship Foundation through the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS will award a worthy graduate of an accredited high school program within the state of Georgia. The scholarship will be paid thrugh the institution of the student's choice, $1,000 each year for a maximum of four years.

The criteria for the award of the scholarship shall be as follow:

  1. Applicants must have a grade point average of 90 or more or an A average as shown on by their school transcript.
  2. Applicants must have a SAT combined score of 1800 or more (out of 2400) or an ACT composite score of 22 or more(out of 36)
  3. Applicants  must have a demonstrated leadership in school activities and/or community involvement.
  4. Applicants must have applied for or be accepted for enrollment at an accredited college, university or vocational-technical institutionand plan on working on a bachlors or associate degree.
  5. Financial need of the applicant may be considered in the scholarship award.
  6. All applicants must be 1st or second generation selected students who are related to an REALTOR members of the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors and are graduating from a accredited highschool program within the state of Georgia.
  7. The applicant's high school principle and counselor shall sign each application to verify the student's scholarship,character and extra curricular activities.
  8. Recipients of the scholarship must register for and complete the minimum number of hours required to be classified as a full time student at the institution of their choice and maintain an accumulated C average. Aawards must be renewed annually by the filling of a renewal application as required by the Scholarship Commitee.
  9. Recipients of the Scholarship mustbegin using the scholarship for an undergraduate degree within 2 years of the award and then complete usage within 4 years following.(6 years total.)
  10. The Gwinnett County Board of Realtors Scholarships Foundation, Through The North Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors make no distinction in its scholarship award based on the grounds of age, sex, race, religion, color, national origion or physical handicap.
  11. The Gwinnett County Board of Realtors Scholarship Foundatioon, hrough the Northeast Atlanta Metro Asociation of Realtors reserves the rights to make the final selection of each year's recipients and each annual renewal of the award and any decision of The Gwinnett County Board of Realtors Scholarshipd Foundation, Through Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of Realtors on the scholarship shall be final and uncontestable.
