10 Words or Less Scholarship

  • Awards one $500 scholarship
To be eligible a student must:
  • be between ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall of 2016
  • High School students enrolled by September 2016 are considered eligible

Mark A. Forester Scholarship

  • Awards one $1,000 scholarship
Eligible to:
  • any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited American university or college, or will be enrolled for Fall/Summer semester of 2016
To enter, students must:
  • write a 500-500-word essay explaining how they go about honoring America's military heroes

LGMD Awareness Scholarship


  • Awards four $3,000 scholarships
  • Designed to rewards students who teach others about Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophies (LGMDs)
  • Two scholarship categories- merit based and social media based
  • Scholarship money can be used for tuition, books, and equipment required for education courses

Paradigm Challenge Scholarship

  • Awards one hundred $100,000 scholarships
To be eligible a student must
  • be a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, or
  • are United States citizen with a permanent US address and are currently residing on an overseas US military installation
  • be aged 7-18 years old as of May 1, 2015
  • have parents'/legal guardians' permission to participate

E-Waste Scholarships

  • Awards one $1,000 scholarship
To be eligible a student must:
  • be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student
  • be US citizen or legal resident

2016 Scholarship Points Awards

  • Awards ten $10,000 scholarships
To be eligible a student must:
  • be at least 13 years old and enrolled or will enroll in a college or university in the US
  • A legal resident of the U.S. or Puerto Rico

YDI Scholarship

  • Awards one $1,000 scholarship
To be eligible a student must:
  • apply between 12:00am on April 1st and April 29, 2016 (EST) and be a resident of any of the 50 United States, District of Columbia or US Territories

SACAC Extend the Dream Student Scholarship

The Southern Association for College Admission Counseling is offering the Extend the Dream scholarship based on financial need, academic achievement and community service. Awards are in the amount of $1,000.
Criteria:
  • student but be a current high school senior
  • student must be accepted by and plan to attend an accredited, non-proprietary, technical, community or four-year college in the fall following his/her graduation
  • student must have at least a 2.75 GPA for grades 9-12
  • student must have financial need
  • student must demonstrate commitment to community service, social justice issues and/or leadership qualities
  • student must submit ACT and/or SAT scores
Student must turn in an application as well as:
  • an official high school transcript
  • ACT/SAT scores
  • Essay typed and double spaced (see link for details)
  • one letter of recommendation
  • a copy of page 1 of Student Aid Report
  • Financial aid award letter from the college which the student plans to attend

Jones Family Business Scholarship

Scholarship for College Students Majoring in Business, Marketing, Finance or Accounting. This is a 4-year progressive scholarship as follows.
  • 1st year-$500
  • 2nd year-$1100
  • 3rd year-$1500
  • 4th year-$2000
The applicant must remain in the major in order to receive the scholarship. If applicant changed their major to a non-business major, the scholarship ends.
  1. Attend a 4-year college or university and major in accounting, finance, marketing, or other business-related field.
  2. Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
  3. Be an African -American student
  4. Complete a 40 hour internship the relates to the applicants major
  5. Submit a 500 word essay describing your interest in accounting, finance, business, marketing, or other business related filed and how you plan to utilize those interest and skills in the future.
