Park Scholarships- NC State

  • Welcomes candidates who have demonstrated success and potential in scholarship, leadership, service, and character
  • To be eligible, candidates must live in the United States and apply for fall, first-year admission into a baccalaureate program at NC State
  • Four-year scholarship valued at $100,000 in-state and $175,000 out-of-state, including tuition and fees, room and board, books and supplies, travel, and personal expenses
  • Grants to fund professional and personal enrichment experiences, such as research projects, service activities, and conferences in the United States and abroad
  • Apllications for the scholarship are due by November 1, 2015

Lincoln Scholars Program- Centre College

  • Four-year, “full-ride plus” scholarship
  • Three summers of enrichment experiences that further develop students’ tenacity, grit and understanding of      humankind’s challenges
  • Opportunities to pursue career-building and leadership-enhancing  experiences
  • Individual mentoring
  • Applicants should demonstrate:
    • Standardized test scores at or near the top 10 percent of scores nationally
    • A high school GPA that reflects achievement and success
    • IB program participants are welcome.
    • Selflessness, integrity, and the courage to be bold in pursuit of the greater good
    • Intellectual curiosity, a compelling personal mission, and an intense desire to achieve goals
    • Marked participation and leadership in extracurricular, service, or community activities

    Grissom Scholars Program- Centre College

    • Four-year, full-tuition scholarship, plus additional aid to cover any remaining financial need
    • $5,000 in educational enrichment funds after the successful completion of the first year
    • On-campus programming
    • Individual mentoring
    • Applicants are required to represent the first generation in their family or household to attend a four-year college and complete a degree
    • Students who wish to be considered for the scholarship must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Centre Aid Form by January 31. 2016
