Georgia State University Honors College

Greetings and good news!

There is still time for your highly motivated and high achieving seniors to apply for the Presidential Scholarship at the honors College at Georgia State University. The application deadline for our prestigious scholarship is November 15, 2018.

But please note this deadline means that prospective students must also apply to Georgia State University by November 9, 2018 to be eligible for scholarship consideration.

Our competitive Presidential Scholarship program recognizes incoming university freshman who were leaders in their high schools with superior academic achievement, a commitment to service and and inspiring personal qualities. The Class of 2022 Presidential Scholars boasted an average SAT score of 1431, ACT score of 32.5, GPA of 3.96.

In addition to participating in an engaging, selective community amidst the vast opportunities of a large and evolving public research university, our Presidential Scholars receive competitive financial benefits, including:

-cost of tuition, mandatory student fees, housing
-a yearly living expense stipend
-one time $2500 stipend for credit-bearing study abroad expenses
-opportunity to compete for a paid University Assistantship where students work on special projects or research in an academic department

This award totals anywhere from $12,244 to $23,474 per year depending on in/out-of-state student status and University Assistantship participation.

B.Davis Scholarship

The winner(s) of this scholarship will be notified by email and their name(s) will be shown on the site.

Award Value: $1,000

This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.

-There is no age restriction
-Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next
-This is not an academic scholarship but we would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are.

Please do not send transcripts or letters of recommendation at this time (10/17/18).

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:
-Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent legal resident of the United States.
-Must be a high school senior graduating between August 1, 2018 and July 31, 2019.
-Must have a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 on a 4 point scale.
-Must enroll for Fall 2019 as a freshman or 1st year student in part-time or full-time study at a 2-year, 4-year, college university, trade or vocational school. The school must be an accredited U.S. institution, and listed on the official website for the U.S. Department of Education (https://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx).
-Must not be a relative or dependent child of an employee of Talking Rain or any of its retail customers.

Bethel University Hendrix Scholarship

 Am I eligible for this scholarship?

In order to be considered for the Hendrix Competition, you must be a high school senior with at least a 3.25 GPA and a 23/*1130 or above ACT/SAT score.

MyMozaic Monthly Scholarship

Official Rules and Eligibility:
1. Participant eligibility-
This competition is open to students enrolled in a high school or college in the United States who are US Citizens or are lawfully living in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Applicants must be thirteen (13) years of age or older on the date of their entry to qualify. Applicants must have an active MyMozaic.com profile with a minimum of three (3) items. These items can be any combination of documents, photos, or videos. Applicants must also have a minimum of five (5) followers on MyMozaic.com

2. Application Period-
The application period begins on the first calendar day of the month at 12:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends on the last calendar day of the month at 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). Any student member of MyMozaic.com at this time who meets the requirements in Part 1 of this Official Rules and Eligibility statement are eligible to win the prize.

3. Prizes-
A total of one (1) cash prize of $1,000 will be awarded per period. Payment will be made via a Recruit Connect Inc check. If the prize is won by an eligible minor it will be awarded in the name of the parent or legal guardian.

4. How to Apply-

In addition to the requirements from Part 1 of this Official Rules and Eligibility statement, you must also provide your first and last name, your gender, your city, state and zip code, the name and level of your school, your graduation year, your GPA, the courses you take and your major(s) of interest.

The Carson Scholars Fund

The Carson Scholars Fund awards $1,000 college scholarships to students in grades 4-11 who excel academically and are dedicated to serving their communities. Scholarship winners receive the honor of being name "Carson Scholars" and are awarded an Olympic-sized medal and a trophy for their school to celebrate their accomplishments. Previous winners of Carson Scholarships are eligible to reapply for Carson Scholar Recognition annually-- please visit the Current Scholar page for more information.

An interested student must be nominated by an educator at his or her school to be able to compete for a Carson Scholarship. Only one student from each school is able to apply, ensuring that each nominee epitomizes academic excellence. Carson Scholars must have a minimum GPA of 3.75 and display humanitarian qualities thorough community service. Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of academic achievement and humanitarian qualities, without regard to financial need, ethnicity, creed or religion.

Big Sun Scholarship

- The BigSun organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All students athletes are eligible for this award, regardless what sport they are participating in.
