OCA-Georgia 2013 Scholarship Program

Applicants will be evaluated on their scholastic and personal achievements. Qualifications for the scholarship are as follows:
  • All full-time graduating high school seniors in good academic standing (minimum GPA 2.75 on 4-point scale, or 3.44 on 5-point scale), of any thnic or cultural background, who plans to attend higher education
  • Applicants must be a United States citizen or a permanent resident of the US
The 2013 OCA scholarship consists of an overall winner with a reward amount of $1500.

The deadline for applications is February 7, 2014.

The Hispanic Scholarship

The Hispanic Scholarship announced today that effective immediately, students with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status are eligible to apply for the HSF General Scholarship at www.HSF.net.

The application deadline is December 15th, 2013.

Stetson University

The J. Ollie Edmunds Distinguished Scholarship will be awarded to one of outstanding first-year student for the Fall term of 2014; this prestigious academic-based award will include full undergraduate tuition, fees, on-campus housing, meals and books for four years.

Nomination deadline is January 17, 2014.
Up to two qualified candidates will be nominated for this scholarship, estimated value at over $200,000 over four years.

Candidates for this outstanding scholarship program must meet the following minimum requirements:
  • Secondary GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (weighted GPA accepted)
  • Student ranking in the top 5 percent of the senior class, provided your institution ranks students
  • Possessing an ACT composite score of at least 30 or a minimum combined SAT-I score of 1350 (combined Critical Reading and Math)
