Qualifications:
  • High School Senior or non-traditional learning experience
  • Deadline: February 15, 2016

Prizes:
  • 1st Place- $1,500 and an official Resolution by the Georgia Senate recognizing the achievement

Iowa State University- Scholarship Awards

Iowa State University offers special scholarship awards to residents of this state who:
  • rank in the top 25 percent of graduating class
  • present a superior academic record
  • are children or grandchildren of Iowa State Alumni 
Academic Recognition Award
  • $5,500 per year for 4 years 
  • automatically awarded to all out-of-state students who rank top 25 percent of their graduating class

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program

  • Up to $25,000 per year for 50 first-time freshmen, renewable for four years 
  • Requirements: 
    •  high school seniors
    • plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at four-year college or university 
    • plan to major in a specified course of study that focuses on Engineering, Technology, Design or other programs of study related to the automotive industry 
    • demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in the automotive or related industries using these areas of study
    • be U.S. citizens and have permanent residence in the United States or Puerto Rico.

Yale Young Global Scholars- Singapore Program

  • What: Full-Tuition scholarship for one outstanding high school students from the U.S. to attend the 2016 program at Yale in Singapore
  • Requirements:
    • be a citizen of the U.S. and currently reside in the U.S. 
    • have attended school in the U.S.
    • Complete the YYGS- Singapore online application, including financial aid portion

Ithaca College- MLK Scholar Program

  • program is offered to academically exceptional students from traditionally underrepresented populations who have demonstrated strong character and leadership 
  • Minimum award of $25,000, renewable annually for up to four years
