Special Scholarships offered to residents of this state who:
-rank in the top 25% of their graduation class, or
-present a superior academic record including a challenging college preparatory curriculum as outlined below, or
-are children or grandchildren of Iowa State alumni.
ACE Level 1: $28,000 ($7,000 per year for 4 years)
Requirements:
Math-through 1 year of calculus
-Science- 3 years from among biology, chemistry, and physics
Foreign Language- 3 years of a single foreign language, or 2 years each of 2 separate foreign languages.
High School GPA-3.30 or higher
Test Score-Act of at least 28 or at least 1240 in SAT (Reading and Math).
ACE Level 2: $22,000 ($5,500 per year for 4 years)
Requirements
Math-4 years from among algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, or calculus
Science-3 years from among biology, chemistry, and physics
Foreign Language-2 years of a single foreign language
GPA- 3.00 or higher
Test Score- Act of at least 26 or SAT of at least 1170 (Critical Reading and Math)
