Earn a $2,500 scholarship!
This scholarship is in honor of Rick Cost, retired Chief Financial Officer at Gwinnett County Public Schools, for his contributions to the Gwinnett County school system. It will be awarded to a Gwinnett County Public School graduating senior pursuing a degree in education. All scholarship winners will be chosen by the end of April 2017 and notified shortly thereafter.

The following must be received along with application form by the Peach State Federal Credit Union
- copy of your SAT or ACT scores
- copy of your transcript indicating your high school grade point average
- two page, double-spaced essay explaining to be a teacher and why. Indicate the field in which you wish to teach in the public schools. Describe any experiences you have had which have helped shape your decision to pursue a career in the field of education.
- two letters or reference; one from a teacher and one from an administrator or counselor in your current high school who can attest to your potential as a prospective education major.
