Dear Scholarship Applicants,
Congratulations and thank you for allowing Black Leaders In Nursing Giving Globally, Inc. (BLINGG) to be apart of your journey!

BLINGG is a non-profit organization started by three nurses who wanted to help minimize the impact of healthcare disparities and inequalities in our community and society. One way we plan to help is by assisting high school students in their journey to becoming great by providing the scholarships listed below to two qualifying students.

The Tuwanna M. Bradley Memorial Scholarship Fund

Tuwanna Marie was very passionate about bringing light to issues that affected her community. Her compassion for those without a voice was only surpassed by her resilience in dealing with misfortune and her diligence to do right by her fellow man. In an essay of no more than 750 words, please tell us how certain circumstances of obstacles you've faced in your life have influenced you in your quest to BLINGG and become great. The winner in this category will be awarded a one-time award of $1000.00 during the fall semester.

I Want to be a Nurse Scholarship

Nursing is more than a career path, it is the essence of mind, body, soul. kindness, compassion and love that makes it unique among all other professions. A nurse embodies care that is holistic in its approach. In no more than 750 words, tell us why you want to become a nurse. The winner will receive a one-time award of $500.00 biannually.
