The Jefferson scholarship is a merit-based, fully funded scholarship on the University of Virginia worth $100,000.00 for Virginians and $200,000.00 for non-Virginians.
The mission of the Jefferson scholar’s foundation is to identify, attract, and nurture individuals of extraordinary intellectual range and depth who possess the highest qualities of leadership, scholarship, and citizenship. Please note that the Jefferson Scholarship process does not take into consideration prior interest in the University nor financial need. In addition to the financial award, the Jefferson Scholarship offers a variety of enrichment experiences for every scholar, including a six week foreign travel experience and internship opportunities with your alumni network.
