- Essay contest that encourages students to research and think critically about character traits such as courage, honesty, fairness, respect, and kindness shown by specific individuals in American History.
- Requires an essay in 800 or less words about a person in American History who exemplified one or more of these character traits.
- Must submit the essay by February 27, 2015.
- Awards
- 1st- $1,500, an official Georgia State Senate Resolution acknowledgement of achievement, and lunch with the Senator.
- 2nd- $750 and lunch with the Senator.
- 3rd- $250 and lunch with the Senator.
