Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority ASCEND Program (Not a scholarship)

• Program designed to motivate, engage, and assist high school students in reaching their maximum potential.
• Focuses on Achievement, Self Awareness, Communication, Engagement, Networking, and Developmental Skills
• Open to male and female students in grades 9-12 who maintain at lease a C average
• Application
• See your counselor for an application
• Includes consent forms, letters of recommendation, recent grade report, and a typed personal response in under 500 words that explains why you want to attend the program.
• Applications must be submitted by January 16th.
