The Tzu Chi Scholars 2014 is awarding $1,000 and is now accepting applications from all graduating high school seniors. Scholars are selected based on financial need, academic achievement, involvement in the community, and the applicant's college plan.
Other awards will be $4,000, given to a small amount of scholars if certain critera is met.
The application form must be sent by March 9, 2014 and Tzu Chi Scholars 2014 must receive all supporting documents by March 20, 2014.
Applications and supporting documents must be mailed to Southern Region Tzu Chi office at 6200 Corporate Drive Houston, TX 77036.
