University of Missouri

  • The new application is more dynamic and easier to use. (We encourage students to frequently check their email account they put on their admission application.)
  • Application fee is $55
  • Scholarship Application: Students must log into our student system, myZou. The username will be presented via email a few days after applying for admission. Scholarship deadline is December 1st.
  • George C. Brooks Scholarship: designed to enhance recruitment and retention of underrepresented students at Mizzou. Scholarship provide $7,500 per year plus a non-resident fee waiver for non-resident students. Deadline: December 15th.
  • Mizzou Scholars Award: a competitive $10,000 scholarship, Missouri residents who score minimum 33 ACT composite and have an admission application on file by December 1st.

  • Official Test Scores: We do NOT take test scores from high school transcripts. Students will need to list MU as one of the school recipients or arrange to have test scores sent to us.

U.S Presidential Scholars Program

Requirements:
    • are U.S. citizens 
    • graduate or receive a diploma between January and August of 2016
    • score exceptionally well on either the SAT or the ACT, based on tests taken during the two-year window that begins in September, 2013 and runs through October, 2015
    • nominated by their Chief State School Officer 
  •  Application for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program is by invitation only. Students may not apply individually to the program or be nominated

Merit Scholarships- Coastal Carolina University

Presidential Scholarship
  • Requirements: 1400 SAT or 32 ACT; GPA 3.75
  • $11,000

President's Scholarship
  • Requirements: 1250 SAT or 27 ACT; GPA 3.5
  • $9,500
  • Deadline: January 1, 2016
Provost's Scholarship
  • Requirements: 1200 SAT or 26 ACT; GPA 3.5

FIDM Scholarship Opportunities

  • Scholarships offered based on a varying combination of qualities such as academic merit, financial need, extensive industry experience, or artistic achievement.
  • Recipients are expected to be particularly strong and positive leaders.
  • Students may be eligible to apply for federal financial aid.
  • Students may qualify for more than one scholarship but not exceed the cost of tuition, books, and supplies

  • Based on academic merit and awarded each tear to select incoming freshman 
  • 4 year award is valued at full tuition for 4 years plus $500 toward course fees per year
  • Requirements:
    • GPA of 3.0, 25 ACT, or 1130 SAT

    • an annual university grant of $3,000
    • University housing for 4 years
    • a textbook stipend

The Rensselaer Medal- Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

  • Recognizes the superlative academic achievement of young men and women, and motivates students toward careers in science, engineering, and technology
  • This merit scholarship, with a minimum value of $15,000 per year, is guaranteed for four years for each medalist who is accepted and enrolls at Rensselaer
  • Requirements:
    • ranked within top 10% of the class
    • member of the junior class
    • demonstrate potential fro success in challenging academic setting
    • excel in advanced math and science courses
